Matera under a sky of lights

In the heart of the City of the Sassi, Christmas lights up with a monumental tree created entirely of lights. Its structure soars in the square as a symbol of celebration and community, embellished with patterns that recall traditional Apulian light installations. The colors, red, blue, and green, intertwine in harmonious geometric motifs, culminating in a unique tree topper: a luminous rose, a symbol of beauty and rebirth.
A work that unites tradition and innovation, capable of transforming the urban space into a timeless visual and cultural experience.

Not just a simple tree, but a luminous icon that celebrates the city’s identity and the warmth of the festivities. Every detail, from the patterns inspired by Apulian craftsmanship to the play of colors that envelops the square, is designed to offer shared emotions.
With this project, Meta Lux wanted to create a meeting point that becomes collective memory: a light that unites citizens and visitors, making Matera the protagonist of an unforgettable Christmas.
